Positions
In recent years, the field of interactive formats and its creation has gained significant importance. More choice due to the number of digital channels, and a general trend for viewers to more and more watch television at individual schedules by using their video recorders (VCRs) have made it necessary, especially for private channels, to open up new financing options aside from classic advertising. In order to succeed, it is crucial to develop new business models focusing on the creation of surplus value and to make viewers bond more strongly to the channels they choose to watch. FiveWorks is offering all the combined know-how necessary in this market. We do consulting for stations on how to add interactive content to their program - e.g. for chat or quiz shows - or on how to introduce formats that are fully interactive. However, we are not limited to consulting, but also create projects right from a budget plan down to their eventual play out. In order to work successfully in this field, we have set up partnerships with leading technical providers. We also hold exclusive rights from important content providers of games and entertainment. A good example is Fun Night on Super RTL - the first fully interactive program on German television, created and launched by FiveWorks in December 2003. In October 2004, by launching Tasliya TV, FiveWorks successfully exported this format to the Arab world. The company was founded in 2002 by Michael Werber, Christan Heyer and Nick Riegger. It has quickly established itself as one of the leading providers of interactive media solutions. >> Prospects
